GFM 64 High Armchair / Cream Boucle
dimensions: 50 x 63 x h 95cm

Light crème bouclé armchair, designed by Edmund Homa, a Polish architect, designer of industrial design and interior architecture, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.

The armchair was made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory. The frame was made from solid beechwood. The GFM type armchair is regarded one of the best Polish armchair design from the previous age. The armchair has been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams.

Upholstery, faux fur has a structure reminiscent of a dense, fleshy, slightly rough sheep fleece. This is one of those upholstery fabrics whose haptic (tactile) qualities are as important as strength, pattern or color. It is characterized by a knotty weave, high basis weight and abrasion resistance. It is available in 10 subdued colors, inspired by the natural colors of wool.

We can prepare this armchair also in another wood and fabric color.
